Amar Trishala Sewa Aashram (ATSA) is a community development implementing agency which strived to improve everyday life for the marginalized section of society since its inception in Bihar state. ATSA has founded in 2007 by a group of professional development practitioners, and registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. ATSA adopted diverse approaches to persistently take forward its vision in real spirit implementing several projects at grassroot level for community level process and pioneer in capacity development of communities.

It has mission to enabling eco system for better education, better health, and well-being of deprived and marginalized section of society.
VISION
To establish democratic and just society wherein every member of the society lives with dignity, equality with realization of equity.
Aims & Objectives
- To provide training to rural women in different trades like shorthand, typewriting, book keeping, accountancy , Telegraphy, secretarial practice, cutting, knitting, toy making, painting, embroidery, printing, book binding ,readymade garments and leather work etc.
- To organise vocational training camp production Centre for the rehabilitation of widows, divorced, orphan, marginalised women of the society.
- To established Balwadi, nutrition facility, cultural program and residential schools for the overall development of children belongs to marginalised, scheduled caste and weaker section of the society.
- To arrange facilities for running mother child health program for the Welfare of resourceless women and children of rural areas.
- To provide improved variety of Agriculture seeds and implements for boosting up the productivity of agriculture.
- To organised relief camps during disaster like flood, famine and fire etc. and obtain relief from different sources and ensure its distribution for the needy.
- To arrange loan or grant under socio economic
- development plan for establishing small industries in rural areas.
- To open Centre for development of mentally retarded and physically handicapped children of the society.
- To open hostel for working women and Housing arrangement for homeless women and children.
- To establish library, Schools, Training Schools and Residential Schools for children of marginalised community and minority as per need of rural areas.
- To provide Panchayati Raj training and implement women leadership development program.
- To create awareness among disasters and educate them how to fight it when it comes.
- To implement rural development programs for the advancement of the weaker section of the society.
- Work on rehabilitation and resettlement in all over Bihar.
- To improve rural women individual and group leadership and decision making.
- To obtain financial help from Khadi and village Industries Commission, Central social welfare board, Education, health, welfare and industries and other Govt. departments and international voluntary organisation and foreign agency for achieving the above object.

ATSA operates primarily in Muzaffarpur,Sitamarhi,Araria and Champaran East districts of Bihar, focusing on a range of thematic areas including youth development, livelihood promotion, child rights, quality education, sexual and reproductive health, water sanitation, local governance and disaster preparedness.
